Coco's OCs - Rin + Sketchtember

Whew, I've been posting mainly character confections for a while, so I thought I'd come back with an update!

School has started, although online, but it's not as bad as everyone though it was going to be. I mean, sitting at your computer on zoom meetings the whole day still sucks... it's better than catching the virus still ;) However, a plus about online classes is that I have a bit more free time to draw (heh totally not while the teacher is answering questions O_O).

It's September now, and that means the season of creativity has come! Well, as in Sketchtember, Inktober, than Nanowrimo in November. For Sketchtember, there are people who use the Inktober list and sketch the things they want to ink later on. I decided to try that this year, and I think that'll help me finish Inktober, since everything just needs to be lined after sketching the ideas out this month.

This year, I'm using characters from my current stories and giving them outfits fitting to the day's prompt! It has been working out great, and I'm quite happy with how everything has turned out. I'll post all of the Sketchtember drawings at the end of the month (they're all on two big pieces of paper), and the same will go for Inktober.

The prompt on day seven was fancy, and for that I drew Rin, my fashionista troublemaker from Akumu. I was so excited about his sketch that I couldn't help uploading it to IbisPaint and turning it digital. So now you all get a sneak peek of Sketchtember!

Oh, and this happy little accident of a wallpaper ended up becoming a thing, too ;P
