This is a caricature-ish drawing for my English class. We have been reading Great Expectations (which I am growing increasingly tired of due to all the annotations we are expected to do) and were tasked with drawing a caricature of a character.

I think Herbert is a nice character and a good friend. He is quite a mess sometimes, as you could probably tell from the state of his home and their meeting in London, where Herbert started smashing his strawberries under his arm while trying to open the door. Overall, I think he is a sweet gentleman with high spirits and an interesting life.

In the picture, I noticed it doesn't look like I colored his skin. He was actually first called the, "pale young gentleman" by Pip, which is why I didn't use a darker shade of skin tone color. You probably cannot see it in the picture, but there's a little whiteout spot on his chin where I messed up tracing the lines with my pen. How that happened, I'd rather not tell... ._.

Oh, and Happy National Superhero (and Blueberry Pie) day! ;P
