Inktober Interlude - Come Along

Note: Inktober days 4 to 8 will be posted hopefully tomorrow!

My older sib's birthday recently was celebrated, and of course I felt the need to cook up something special for her card! I must say I am a bit of a Pentaholic (meaning I can't stop listening to Pentatonix music), and got my sister into it as well. One of her favorite songs is "Come Along", originally by Cosmo Sheldrake.

I took the thumbnail scene, initially planning on drawing her OCs to the scene, but as you can probably tell, that failed. So instead I went to the five main characters in the roleplay we both are in, which also failed miserably. As a next resort, I tried using characters from one of her favorite Webtoons, Lackadaisy.

None of those seemed to work, so I did what I drew best: my own characters from my novel, Akumu! In the middle is my antagonist, Dr. Calan Homer; then, looking from left to right, Zeke, Sprite, Ozora, and Tojin.

I was extremely happy on how well this turned out and went a little crazy with the colors and splatters and lights... But it took a little more than two hours, which may seem like a while, but to me it's a sign my digital art is slowly improving (or I am adapting ;D)!
